Clinical research and CROs
Find a contact to discuss study feasibility, site capabilities or clinical operations. Ethics review, regulatory permission and the sponsor’s responsibilities remain separate steps.
Scientific background
A sponsor looking for a CRO can specify the indication, development phase and support needed. Assess the proposed team and study site separately from the ethics and regulatory decisions.
For medicinal product trials, TİTCK describes review by an authorised ethics committee and permission from the Ministry of Health. ICH E6(R3) provides an international framework for participant protection and credible data. A CRO may perform agreed tasks while the sponsor retains responsibility for oversight.
A Turkish paediatric cancer registry reported 52,907 recorded cases for 2002–2024 in a conference abstract. These historical entries cannot predict recruitment for a new trial. For a paediatric oncology or haematology project, an introduction can help establish whether a centre has relevant experience with the proposed age group.
Gene and cell therapies in haematology
The international ELIANA trial studied CAR T-cell therapy in young people with a specific type of B-cell leukaemia. Its single-arm design precludes a direct comparison with another treatment. For a scientific introduction in Türkiye, specify the indication, age group and expertise required.
